LBK, please take some time off and enjoy this Thanksgiving holiday with your family and close friends. Time is not promised to any of us, so gratitude is always in order.
As you take some time to wind down and begin recuperating as this year draws to a close, we hope you might think about the widespread acceptance of socialism in our country.
This is an appropriate time to reflect on the fact that the failure of collectivist policies led to a near collapse of the Pilgrim’s Plymouth Plantation. Sensible policies based on personal drive and responsibility led to a huge harvest and what we now know as the first “Thanksgiving”.
