FocusLBK S3E131: On Stubbs BBQ & the Legitimacy of Modern Black Music and Culture

My brother Khambrel asked me a few years ago had I noticed how it is totally cool for a middle-aged white guy to be a singer songwriter, yet a middle aged black guy would be utterly frowned on and mocked for being a hip hop artist.

We’ve had many discussions on the subject, and I was reminded of them today when I was prepping for an upcoming project. Check out some of the conclusions I reached while I was out working on a film for an upcoming presentation at Texas Tech.
