Much Ado About Footwear

For some reason, "bootraps" seem to be fairly contentious.  It’s safe to say I have never seen something so small and useful drive so much seemingly derisive skepticism.  Some people will say "we should use our bootstraps to pull ourselves up by."  But as soon as they do, others issue sharp reminders that "not everybody has boots in the first place."
