The SWD crew broaches the subject of Electric Competition in the LBK. Rob is deeply skeptical of ERCOT because it seems like it’s linked to the epic power grid failures that occurred during the winter of 2021.

Kham on the other hand makes no bones about his feelings for outgoing local electric utility provider LP&L.

One thing they both agree on is the need to have more than one form of energy to run your house. In cases of unforeseen events, having some other source of power to fall back on can be critical.

The ebb and flow of good convo takes the two into a discussion about the futility of masking up during covid, and other suspect aspects of the “deadly pandemic”.

This turns into a discussion about the cleanliness of some fast food restaurants, or the lack thereof.

And, it’s usually best to tie up loose ends, but when they make music like this 80’s group, you might end up, “Hanging on a String”.
