What’s good LBK? We are pleased to present the 2nd edition of the Southwest Digest Podcast. Mr. Nugent, Kham and I had fun making it, and we are honing our workflow, and becoming a cohesive team.
In other words, we are starting to “get into the groove of how we need to move.” Do you code switch often? We do, sometimes.
But seriously, this is a good episode. We were able to up our production game a bit, and we are settling into our roles on the team.
We open up with a rather surprising list of cool things going on locally. For example, legendary Motown artists are coming to Lubbock in the next few weeks. Yes, to the LBK.
On Out and about, we visit and discuss one of those cool, unique parts of being a Lubbockite: The Garden and Arts Center Annual Fall Festival. If you’ve never been, check this piece out. If you have been, check this piece out, too, because it’s just that good.
Later in the show, Elder Brady Baldwin drops another pearl on us, and tells us how he knew some of the most influential history makers on the South Plains. People whose names are on your local park, or at the entrance to your neighborhood.
We also get funky with Jean Carn on “What Chu Bumpin”. We get into people who have sampled her music, and a much deeper discussion on music in general.
And if that wasn’t enough, we then sit down with Pastor Bill Stubblefield for a discussion we can all relate to. Have you ever wanted or needed God to speak to you and help you make a decision? We have, too. But doesn’t it often seem like God is giving us “the Hand?” Like, nope, I’m not saying nothing to you!
Well, Pastor Stubblefield breaks “dine“ the various ways God speaks to us all. This was a really edifying conversation. Kham and I were both able to see the ways and times God has spoken in our lives. And now we know what look out for in the future.
But, ya’ll know “game is sold, not told” right? So please join us Down the Prairie Dog Hole to get this particular piece of info that just might improve your life!
