Back in September of 2023, Lubbock Hip-Hop Pioneer Billy “B-Fresh” Smith appeared on the Focus LBK Show. In fact, he was one of our first guests, back when we were still recording in Patterson Library. (Shout out to Theresa Wilson and her crew over there!).
We thought it might be appropriate to bring that episode back “one mo’ ‘gin” since the new “Spring Fusion, Tha Reboot” talent show will be happening on 12 April, 2025, as you can see by the flyer.
I remember, while were producing this episode I remarked that I wanted to bring Spring Fusion back. (Which is a funny thing to say since I never got to attend any of the original talent shows.)
Needless to say, the 100 Black Men of West Texas are making it happen again, and we are ecstatic.
